Dorset Wildlife Trust

Dorset Wildlife Trust is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts working across the UK. With the invaluable support of our volunteers, members and corporate supporters we manage more than 42 nature reserves for wildlife and people in Dorset. We also work with other organisations and landowners to protect and connect wildlife sites across the county and inspire local communities and young people to care for wildlife where they live.

We absolutely love wildlife - and bet you do too! Wildlife Watch is here for kids that can't get enough of exploring the great outdoors or those desperate to find out a bit more about the weird and wonderful creatures we share our world with. It's part of The Wildlife Trusts, who look after lots of awesome places for wildlife and run hundreds of events each year in the UK.

Plantlife: The Wild Plant Conservation

Plantlife's focus is lasting positive change for wild flowers, plants and fungi. They are the life support for all our wildlife and their colour and character light up our landscapes. But without our help, this priceless natural heritage is in danger of being lost.

From the open spaces of our nature reserves to the corridors of government, we work nationally and internationally to raise their profile, celebrate their beauty, and to protect their future.

It’s time to act for a plant rich world - for climate, for wildlife and for us.

Dorset AONB

The Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a collection of stunning landscapes and is celebrating the 60th anniversary of its designation as a nationally important protected landscape.
